A master suite sanctuary.
Master Suite Remodel
Dated finishes and three small closets in this master bedroom addition from the 1990's limited storage and made organization difficult. The redesign resulted in a master suite with a shower and freestanding tub, as well as a view of treetops, sky, and sunset from the second story space. Clever reconfigurations and a small stolen space above the stairwell gave the client a much-needed walk-in closet. Custom cabinets in the bedroom and bathroom create storage for large collections of shoes and jewelry. A tub placed to maximize views from existing windows creates a sanctuary retreat.
“My master suite remodel journey with Meeta was a completely transformative experience. After updating most of the other major areas of my home, I had been wishing to take this step for years, and taking the time to make my private space my own was deeply personal and empowering. Meeta was a wonderful partner who helped me define my vision and make it a reality. She inspired my creative ideas, ran with my many quirky ones, and kept my feet grounded when necessary. The end result was exactly as I had hoped—a lovely, timeless, peaceful sanctuary . . . with daily soaks in an awesome bathtub.”
