This remodel revolves around the need for more living and entertaining space for this active family of four. The addition creates the square footage needed for a master bedroom and flex space (with enough room for a table for 12), with extra storage space next to the stairs. Budgeting constraints meant that the project had to be smart and low impact: by adding onto the back and rearranging the two bedrooms for circulation space, the kitchen, bathroom, and living spaces in the house could remain untouched, with minor updates as needed.
